WashR DUO | The pressure fluctuates

If you're experiencing fluctuating pressure during use, your WashR DUO may be facing a minor issue that can be quickly resolved. Pressure fluctuations can reduce performance and impact your detailing results, but the good news is that the most common causes are simple to fix.

Troubleshooting Pressure Fluctuations

Below is a list of potential causes and their recommended solutions:

Probable Cause Solution
Valves are worn, dirty, or stuck Check internal valves. Clean, service, or replace as needed.
Pump is sucking air Inspect all hose fittings and inlet for cracks or loose connections. Ensure a tight seal to avoid air intake.
Water filter is dirty Remove and inspect the filter. Clean thoroughly or replace if clogged or damaged.

Additional Tips:

  • Use a clean water source: Dirty or contaminated water can clog the internal components and lead to pressure issues.

  • Check hose length and diameter: Using hoses that are too long or narrow can affect water flow and pressure stability.

  • Purge air before use: Before starting the unit, always pull the trigger on the spray gun to purge air from the system. This helps stabilise pressure from the beginning.
