WashR FLO | My unit turns off due to overheating

The WashR FLO is designed with a built-in thermal protection system that automatically shuts off the motor if it becomes too hot during operation. This is a safety feature to prevent damage to the unit and ensure user safety.

Overheating typically occurs after prolonged continuous use, particularly in hot environments or when airflow to the motor is restricted. If your unit turns off unexpectedly, follow the steps below to troubleshoot and resolve the issue.

Troubleshooting Overheating

POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION
Unit has been running continuously for an extended period Allow the unit to cool down for at least 5–10 minutes before restarting. For large jobs, take regular breaks to avoid overheating.
High ambient temperature during use Use in a shaded or cooler area if possible, and ensure proper airflow around the unit. Avoid using in direct sunlight on very hot days.
Poor ventilation or blocked vents Check for dust or debris blocking the vents. Clean around the air intake area to allow proper airflow and cooling.
Heavy-duty tasks exceeding recommended usage While the WashR FLO is designed for detailing, it may overheat if pushed beyond its intended use. Avoid extended commercial-style use.

If the unit does not restart after cooling, it may require inspection or servicing.
