WashR PRO | How to setup the unit

Setting up your bigboi WashR PRO is simple when you follow the steps below. Proper setup ensures safe operation and top-level performance every time.

✅ Step 1: Add Oil to the Triplex Pump

Before anything else, make sure your pump is properly oiled.
Refer to our guide: How to Check Your Oil Level Before Use

✅ Step 2: Connect the Spray Wand to the Spray Gun

  • Pull back the slip ring on the quick-connect socket on the pressure gun.

  • Insert the quick-connect plug from the lance into the socket.

  • Release the slip ring and give the connection a twist — listen for a CLICK.

  • Give the lance and gun a firm pull in opposite directions to ensure they’re locked in place.

✅ Step 3: Attach the High-Pressure Hose to the Gun

  • Connect the quick-connect end of the pressure hose to the pressure gun.

  • Pull on the hose to make sure it’s secure.

✅ Step 4: Connect the Hose & Water Supply to the Pump

  • Attach the other end of the high-pressure hose to the pump’s high-pressure outlet.

    • Pull down the collar on the quick connect, slide it on, and release.

    • Tug the hose gently to confirm a tight connection.

  • Before attaching your garden hose:

    • Inspect the water inlet screen for debris or damage.

    • Clean if dirty; replace if damaged. Never operate the unit with a damaged inlet screen.

    • Run water through the garden hose for 30 seconds to flush out any debris.

  • Important Notes:

    • Never use standing water – always connect to a clean, flowing water source.

    • Use only cold water (under 40°C / 104°F).

    • Your garden hose should be no longer than 50 feet (15m) and at least ½” inside diameter.

    • Tighten the garden hose by hand.

    • Turn on the tap, then squeeze the spray gun trigger to purge air and impurities from the system.

✅ Step 5: Connect to Power

  • Make sure the switch is in the OFF position.

  • Plug the power cord directly into a power outlet.

    • Avoid using extension cords unless absolutely necessary.

✅ Step 6: If You Must Use an Extension Cord

  • Only use cords with IPX5 protection.

  • Make sure the wire thickness matches the length — longer cords need thicker wires.

  • Thin or overly long cords can cause voltage drops, slow motor performance, or even fires due to overheating.

By following these steps, your WashR PRO will be set up correctly and safely — ready to deliver professional-grade results.
