WashR PRO | Producing humming sound after turning on, and tripping the circuit breaker

The WashR PRO is designed to operate on a dedicated circuit. If the unit produces a humming sound when turned on and then trips the circuit breaker, it could indicate an issue with the power source or internal components.

To avoid electrical faults and ensure smooth operation, follow the guidance below.

Electrical Requirements

  • USA: Use a dedicated socket rated for 120VAC / 15A or 20A

  • Australia/Rest of World: Use a dedicated circuit rated for 240V / 10A

Possible Causes and Solutions

POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION
Plugged into a circuit with insufficient amperage Ensure the unit is connected to a dedicated circuit: 120VAC/15A or 20A (USA), or 240V/10A elsewhere.
Pressure Regulating Valve (PRV) set too high Adjust the PRV to the correct setting to prevent electrical strain during startup.
Faulty extension cord or shared power board Avoid using extension cords or shared outlets. Always plug directly into a dedicated socket.
Motor obstruction or internal fault Unplug the unit and inspect for visible blockages. If the issue persists, contact support.
Faulty capacitor or electrical component This may indicate an internal electrical failure. Do not attempt self-repair.

If the issue continues after checking all the above, please stop using the unit and contact the bigboi support team. This issue may be covered under warranty, depending on the diagnosis.
