WashR DUO | When I switch on the unit, the motor hums but does not run

If your WashR DUO motor hums when switched on but doesn’t start, it’s likely caused by an issue with the power supply, pump, or extension cable. Here’s how to troubleshoot it quickly and safely:

Possible Cause What You Can Do
Mains voltage is too low Check that your power supply meets the required voltage. Avoid using long extension runs or overloaded circuits.
Pump is stuck or frozen Turn off the unit and try rotating the motor shaft manually (refer to your manual). If it won’t move, contact bigboi support.
Incorrect extension cable used Only use an Extra Heavy Duty extension cord (IPX5-rated). Standard cords can cause voltage drop and prevent startup.
