D-IONIZR | I'm getting leaks from the inlet and outlets.

If you’re noticing leaks from the inlet or outlet connections on your D-IonizR, here are a few quick things to check:

  • Tighten the fittings – These may have loosened slightly during shipping. Use a spanner or wrench to gently tighten them, but be careful not to overtighten, as this could damage the threads.

  • Check the plumber’s tape – Ensure plumber’s tape (also known as thread seal tape) has been applied correctly to the threaded connections. It should be wrapped cleanly and snugly in a clockwise direction around the male threads.

  • Inspect the O-rings – Check your O-rings or rubber washers, inspect them for any damage, displacement, or wear that could be causing the leak.

  • Look for hairline cracks – In rare cases, small cracks around the fittings or filter housings can cause leaks, particularly if the unit has been dropped or impacted during transit.
