WashR DUO | The pressure drops during use

If your WashR DUO experiences a noticeable drop in pressure during operation, it may be due to water supply issues or nozzle problems. Below is a breakdown of the most common causes and how to resolve them.

Probable Cause Solution
Water intake from external tank Connect the unit directly to a pressurised mains water supply. Gravity-fed tanks often can't maintain the required water pressure or flow rate.
Nozzle worn, dirty or stuck Remove the nozzle, check for blockages or wear, and clean or replace as needed.
Intake water too hot Reduce the water temperature. The WashR DUO is designed for cold to lukewarm water only. Overheated water can affect pump performance.
Air trapped in system Purge the system before use by running water through the spray gun (trigger held down) without starting the motor. This ensures no air remains in the line.
Dirty inlet filter Check the inlet filter and clean or replace it if necessary. A clogged filter can starve the pump of water, reducing pressure.
