WashR PRO | How to Start the unit
Before starting your unit or following this guide, please make sure you’ve read our WashR PRO Setup Guide to ensure everything is connected correctly and safely.
Starting your bigboi WashR PRO is easy — whether it's your first time or it’s been sitting idle for a while. Just follow these step-by-step instructions to get up and running safely.
✅ Step-by-Step Starting Guide
1. Position the Pressure Washer
Place your WashR PRO near an outdoor water source that can supply:
-
At least 5 GPM (19 LPM) flow
-
At least 20 PSI (1.3 BAR) pressure at the garden hose connection
2. Check All Hose Connections
-
Make sure the high-pressure hose is securely connected to both the spray gun and the pump.
🚫 Never run the pump without water connected and turned on. Doing so can damage the unit and void your warranty.
3. Place on a Level Surface
Ensure the unit is sitting flat and stable to avoid vibration or tipping during use.
4. Uncoil the High-Pressure Hose
Fully unroll the high-pressure hose before starting to prevent kinks and ensure smooth water flow.
5. Connect the Garden Hose
Attach your garden hose to the water inlet on the pump.
6. Purge the System
-
Turn on the water supply.
-
Point the spray gun in a safe direction and squeeze the trigger to flush out any air or debris from the system.
7. Attach the Gun Lance
Securely connect the lance to the spray gun.
Give it a gentle tug to make sure it’s locked in place.
8. Choose and Attach a Nozzle
-
Select your desired nozzle.
-
Pull back the collar on the quick connector, insert the nozzle, then release the collar.
-
Tug on the nozzle to confirm it’s secured.
🔒 Safety First
Before starting the pressure washer, make sure you're wearing proper safety gear.
9. Start the Motor
Press the "ON" button to power up the unit.
📝 Place the washer on a flat, secure surface during operation.
NOTE: The cleaner must be used standing on a secure, stable surface, positioned as shown.
🛑 Understanding Total Stop System (TSS)
-
When the trigger is released for more than 5 seconds, the motor enters STAND BY mode and stops running.
-
Squeeze the trigger again to resume operation.
-
If left in STAND BY mode for 30+ minutes, the system will automatically shut down completely.
🚫 Never leave your WashR PRO unattended in STAND BY mode.
Following these steps will help ensure your WashR PRO starts safely and performs at its best.
