WashR PRO | How to check your oil level before use

Keeping the correct oil level in your bigboi WashR PRO is essential for performance and longevity. Running your unit with low or no oil can cause permanent damage and void your warranty, so make sure to follow the steps below before first use.

✅ Step 1: Remove the Shipping Plug

  • Use a 17mm open-end wrench or socket wrench to remove the shipping plug from the pressure pump.

  • Discard the shipping plug after removal — it’s only for transport.

✅ Step 2: Install the Breather Plug

  • Take the pump breather plug from the parts bag and insert it into the pump.

  • Tighten by hand only. Do not use a wrench or tool — overtightening can damage the threads.

✅ Step 3: Check the Oil Level

  • Look at the sight glass on the pump.

  • The oil should sit at halfway up the sight glass.

  • If it’s below that, add oil until the level is correct.

🔧 Recommended Oil & Maintenance

  • Oil Type: API SF SAE 10W/30 or 15W/40 (non-detergent only).

  • First Oil Change: After 30 hours of operation.

  • Regular Oil Changes: Every 100 hours of use.

Important Notes:

  • Always use non-detergent oil rated SF, SG, SH, SJ or higher.

  • Do not use oil additives.

  • Oil choice depends on temperature:

    • Below 4°C (40°F): Avoid SAE 30 – it will make starting difficult.

    • Above 27°C (80°F): 10W30 may burn off faster. Check oil more often in hotter conditions.

Proper oil maintenance keeps your WashR PRO running smoothly and protects your investment.
