Using an extension cord with your WashR PRO? Choosing the correct wire gauge is crucial to ensure your unit runs safely and efficiently without power loss or overheating.
When using an extension cord, follow these guidelines:
| WIRE GAUGE (AWG) | MAXIMUM LENGTH |
|---|---|
| 12 AWG | Up to 30 metres (100 feet) |
| 13 AWG | Up to 25 metres (82 feet) |
| 14 AWG | Up to 20 metres (65 feet) |
⚠️ Note: Using a cord that is too long or too thin can cause voltage drop, reduced performance, or even damage to your unit.
For best results, always use the shortest, thickest extension cord possible.
